Dr. Wei-Lei Wang received his PhD in biogeochemistry in 2015 from the SUNY Stony Brook University. After that, he went to the University of California Irvine for his postdoc training (2015 – 2020). In 2020, he was promoted to assistant project scientist at the University of California, Irvine. He joined Xiamen University in March 2021. Dr. Wang’s research focuses on large-scale biogeochemical cycle of carbon, nutrients, and trace metals, sinking particle dynamics, and air-sea flux of ocean-sourced trace gases.
