Jae-Hun Park received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in oceanography from Seoul National University, Korea, and the Ph.D. degree inoceanic engineering from Hiroshima University, Japan. He worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Rhode Island, US, and the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology during 2002-2015. He joined the Department of Ocean Sciences, Inha University, Korea, as an Associate Professor from September 2015. His main research focuses are on internal gravity waves including internal tides, near‐inertial waves,and non‐linear internal waves, with emphasis on dynamics of their interaction with mesoscale eddies and fronts in thenorthwestern Pacific and its marginal seas.
